Our mission for the cats of Indy

At Hoosier Haven Cat Rescue, we believe every cat deserves comfort, love, and a second chance. Located in Martinsville, Indiana, our rescue is dedicated to sheltering domestic felines, reducing the feral population, and finding loving homes without financial barriers.

Protecting vulnerable felines

Too often, cats are given away online or posted on social media for free with no regard for where they end up. We stepped up to offer a secure haven. By taking these domestic cats into our care, we prevent neglect, curb growing feral cat populations, and protect our local Indiana wildlife from preventable disruption.

Complete care

Money was never the goal when starting Hoosier Haven Cat Rescue. Before any cat journeys into their forever home, our dedicated team ensures they are fully socialized, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated so they can thrive alongside their new family.

How community makes it possible

Whether you contribute essential supplies, offer a temporary home as a foster, or provide financial donations, your generosity directly saves lives across Martinsville.

"Hoosier Haven gave our rescue kitty the medical care and loving patience she needed before joining our family. Their pure dedication to saving cats is an incredible gift to Martinsville."
